This fall, he will add celebrity judge to his list of work experience when he provides his personal insights and advice to the six hopeful finalists during the finale of Great American Country’s Next GAC Star talent competition (September 10, 9 pm ET) powered by Music Nation.

Jack Ingram was named “Top New Male Vocalist” Sunday, May 18 at the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. For more than a decade, Ingram recorded for various major labels and built a solid support system of fan, critics and musical peers for his dynamic performances and stage presence. The hard work paid off when Ingram signed with formidable independent label, Big Machine Records for the release of his break-through album THIS IS IT in April 2007.

On the road this morning on our way up to Ft. Worth to play Bass Hall. I've been looking forward to this show for a long time. Bass Hall is one of the most beautiful venues in the country. I've seen a few shows there and they've all been fantastic. One of the coolest dates I ever went on with Amy was to see Lyle Lovett there. I'm hoping tonight will be a memorable evening.

The Academy of Country Music announced today that Top New Male Vocalist nominees Luke Bryan, Jack Ingram and Jake Owen, Top New Female Vocalist nominees Sarah Buxton, Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift and Top New Vocal Duo or Group nominees Carolina Rain and Lady Antebellum will perform live during the second annual Academy of Country Music Charitable Fund’s New Artists’ Party for a Cause™ Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the MGM Grand Conference Center Pavilion in Las Vegas.
